This recipe was modified from an Oatmeal Raisin Cookie recipe that I got from allrecipes.com. #1 isn't all too keen on raisins, thus it was replaced with chocolate chips.
Ingredients:
Makes 24 large sized cookies
85 g butter, softened
120 g packed light brown sugar (note: original recipe says 75g white sugar + 80g brown sugar)
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
80 g all-purpose flour
2 g baking soda
1/4 tsp g ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
110 g rolled oats
1/2 cup chocolate chips (I usually just eyeball the amount)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
In large bowl, cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
Beat in the eggs and vanilla until fluffy.
Stir together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
Gradually fold it into butter mixture. Stir in oats and chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown.
Cool slightly, remove from sheet to wire rack.
Cool completely.
