Daikon with Pork Bones Soup (白萝卜,肉骨 汤)

Kiefer loves this soup. No picture cos I forgot to snap one! :P

Ingredients
1 Daikon or White Radish (爱萝卜), peeled and cut into sizeable chunks
2 carrots, cut into chunks
2-3 pieces Pork bones (marrow bones)
1-2 honey dates (蜜枣)
about 1 tbsp goji berries (枸杞子)
1/2 tbsp miso paste
1.5L water

Method
Blanch the bones in boiling water for a couple of minutes. Throw out the water.
Add in the daikon, carrots, honey dates and water.
If cooking over fire, bring the water to a boil and leave it boiling for about 10min, then adjust the fire down to a simmer. Simmer for 1h.
If using a slow cooker, add boiling hot water into the cooker and leave it on low for 8h or high for 4h.
Add in the Goji berries only in the last 30min before serving, or the berries turns the soup sourish.
At the same time, stir in the miso paste.
