Had 2 pieces of ribeye in the freezer and didn't know what to do with it. I'm usually not very successful with putting the steak over the stove (tend to overcook) and so decided to slow cook it. Seems like a waste to use such a prime cut to slow cook but the meat fell apart and it was pretty delish. This recipe is quite a cheater recipe though, because it uses McComick's Beef and Gravy mix.
Ingredients
2 pcs ribeye, 1/2" thick
1 yellow capsicum, sliced
1 onion
1 pkt McComick's Beef and Gravy mix
Method
Prepare the gravy according to package instructions (250ml hot water to 1 pouch)
Allow it to cool
Add everything into slow cooker
Cook on high for 4h or low for 8h
Serve with bread or rice
*Prepare everything in a ziplock bag and freeze it until ready to cook.
